Has anyone been to Disneyland Paris over the christmas holidays? I am wondering how busy it is and does it feel like christmas :rotfl: if you know what I mean

We were there last year from 27th to 29th and it was very busy.

However I know others have been over Christmas itself and have commented that it is usually quieter actually on Christmas Day itself as you dont get any day visitors/locals there.

We have done WDW over Christmas and can say yes it did feel like Christmas. It might be worth reading some of the old trip reports from people who have been for that time to get a feel of what its like

I have also heard that the time from 20DEC-4JAN is very very crowded except for the afternoon of the 24DEC and on 25DEC. The 26DEC is no bank holiday in France so from then on it will get crowded again as locals having school holidays during this time as well as the rest of Europe.

Hi,

Last year went 21 to 23 Dec, yes it was busy, as busy as the summer was, but this year summer was approx 50% down on the numbers or so it seemed - very noticeable and pleasant, but what is termed as busy? In holiday time, you except that...depends on what you go for!

I don't think that they had 50% less visitors this summer. DLRP just published it's figures for the business year 2008 (October 2007-September 2008) and they had 15.4 million visitors. (Record for DLRP) Last year they "only" had 13.9 if I remember correctly.

But with the many new attractions at WDS it is possible that it seems as if there would be less visitors.

We have been to dlrp over christmas, we were there 23- 27th December back in 2000 and it was very busy, cold, and poured with rain the whole time!!.lol, but apart from that it was great!.lol :goodvibes

Yay!!! You will have a fantastic time! :wizard:

The crowds on the 25 December depends on the weather.
We are visiting the park for the fifth time this year over Christmas and as I will be taken my lap top I will surely post the pictures here hot from the spot.

We went 2 years ago, 21st-24th December, and Christmas Eve did seem a lot quieter than the other days.

This year we'll be there from 22nd-28th :cheer2: :cheer2:

Just booked for 23rd to 27th in New York Hotel, first time ever to experience Disneyland.
