Parks on Saturday-Monday or Monday-Wednesday in Sept.?

Considering a 4 night trip in mid September 2018 or 2019. How big of a difference does it make to go to Universal, including Volcano Bay, from Sat.-Mon. vs. a Mon.-Weds. at that time of year? We'd burn less PTO going over the weekend, but I'm guessing the rack rates on a weekend are higher? We'd do a split stay with 2 nights each at Cabana Bay and Hard Rock. Flights are just $20 difference per person so not concerned about that part. We'd like to really soak in the parks this trip, so if it'll be significantly more crowded on the weekend we'll sacrifice more vacation days.

HHN starts Sept 14th this year and on those days Studios will close at 5pm for that hard ticket event. That may make a difference in your plans.

I`d choose Mon to Wed as weekends brings crowds as locals will be prevalent then.

We have done 3 septembers in a row now. With EPs for a large portion of thw trip, it honestly wont matter much.

With EE as well the other days, you will get alot more accomplished.

Volcano Bay in September is wonderful.
