Looks like they're not doing as badly as some have been saying:

Attendance dropped 1 percent at domestic parks, offset by a rise in average guest spending. Hotel occupancy at U.S. resorts dropped to 92 percent from 93 percent a year earlier.

Full article here.

The occupancy numbers change considerably for the next quarter (Q4) which won't report til Sept.

That's interesting. I can only find it on the subscription site, but the article in the WSJ says, "[Disney] Officials said Wednesday that bookings through September were on par with last year and bookings through the December holiday period were slightly ahead of the year-earlier period."

I wish I could link to it. Ah, here it is.

Bookings have a way of getting cancelled. I was there about 2 weeks ago and it wasn't that crowded considering it was summer. We went to IOA and had ridden everything once before lunch. No wait for the first two times on Spiderman, small wait for Hulk, rode Dueling Dragons three times with no line, etc. Did the same thing in MK at Space Mountain. Only real wait we had was the middle of the afternoon at Splash Mountain.

I've lost track of the number of visits in the past two years, but still have not gotten anything from the Dream squad.
