I count 15 bears entertaining us.... want the names ;) :p

:p

I'll 2nd MBabe and add the "sad bear" is Big Al. :)

Conga line AAQ cards to 1hour, jwill and gometros.... come on boys....conga!!!!!

Oh I'll second Grizzley Hall... sounds good to me ;)

:smooth:

Are there 18? Grizzly Hall sounds good, I will second ckj on the location.

More AAQ cards all around…I guess I couldn’t fool anyone…Frank Oz is the voice of Miss Piggy heard in Muppetvision….

I have no idea on the CBJ names outside of Teddi Bera, Liver Lips McGrowl, Big Al, Henry Bear (the MC), Zeke, Zed, Ted, Fred, and a Bear named Tennessee…
I do know their home is Grizzly Hall though…

Not sure if MBabe confirmed this answer…but I want to second her quote as being from the Tiki Room

OK…a follow-up question…What was siginificant about the opening date of MGM’s Muppetvision?[/B

Oh...Thanks MK... Big Al makes 16 bears :p

::smooth:

Lucky you remembered Big Al, MB, that earned you a honey of an AAQ.

I gotta stop throwing out these softballs. I want another shacky. My first one is getting all lonely

There's nothing wrong with just having one Shacky. :p Just remember, sometimes they happen when you least expect it. :)

And to stay on topic, I'll guess World of Motion. :p

I have to humbly apologize. I can't read my own writing. jwill was right with the answer - it was 18, not 16 bears.

For that gaff, I'll buy the next round of Dole Whip-A-Ritas. And ask this question:

What symbol located at the Hall of Presidents required an act of Congress in order to be placed in the rotunda?

Gometros - That would be the Presidential Seal.

Not the Presidential Walrus.

Oh yeah.... Name 'em :p.....

I will not give up my AAQ card!!!!!

Yeah...sure.... then you go and buy a round of Whiparitas and put me to work.....

Is this any way to treat your favorite DW Wench...snif...snif...snif...

:(

I want to second MrsA...the Presidential Seal required an act of Congress...Disney tried to get the Presidential Walrus as well...but Sea World had him tied to an exclusive contract....soon after that, Milhouse, the Presidential Walrus attempted a daring escape from Sea World....
Tragically, the slow-moving walrus' route took him through Shamu's tank...where the hungry Killer Whale ate him...
As a gesture of respect, the position of Presidential Walrus remains unfilled to this day....

OK...now back to reality...I still have an open question out there...

What was siginificant about the opening date of MGM’s Muppetvision?

Higgsy - The only thing I can find so far is that it opened in May 1991. Is that around the same time that the one billionth-trillionth-zillionth guest passed through WDW turnstiles?
-MrsAPalm
EDITED TO ADD - Wait - is it two years exactly since the day that the park itself opened?

A fin-shaped AAQ for you mrsA and higgs. And for a bonus, although this is technically not a WDW question anymore, can anyone tell me the two other places the seal exists? And one of the answers is not the Living Seas :D

Gometros - The only other two places I can think of are The White House and maybe The Library of Congress. And I'm totally guessing on the library.

Question time!
In the Munchkinland scene in GMR, what is hanging by the Wicked Witch of the East's feet?

-MrsAPalm

AHHHH…now the paralell thread has gometros!!!
LOL….couldn’t resist….

MrsA…no to both the guesses on my Muppetvision question….

BTW…I think the Presidential Seal also pops up on the sign for the Hall of Presidents and the American Adventure….(not to mention on the back of every $1 bill used in the park…:p)

The Whitehouse and Camp David?

:smooth:

The White House is one of the two places (where in the White House?)

My best guess with the Muppet Vision question is that it opened a year after Jim henson died - to the day, depending on whose opening date you go by (I've seen different opening dates cited.)

Higgs - I didn't get the parallel thread reference.

AAQ card to gometros...
As far as I know Muppetvision opened a year to the day after Jim Henson's death...

BTW...I noticed that there were 2 of the exact same posts (since deleted) that's is what we mean by the "paralell thread" :)

gometros.... the Oval Office in the Whitehouse...

The other place is the set of "The West Wing" TV series' Oval Office
