Parks Game! Part 7.1! Come On...Keep Playing...You Know You Want To!

MK....well, I'm assuming it's a really old date? How about 7.1 million years BC?:)

GOOD MORNING ALL!

My guess will be 63 million years ago, and in order to keep the game rolling...

I'm going to use my "enthusiastic AAQ"...

The Japan pavillon pagoda is modeled after one from what Japanese city?

Good Luck

:sunny: Good Morning!

1Hour..... The Pagoda was fashioned after an 8th century structure in Nara Japan and the Torii Gate is designed after one at Hiroshima Bay.

:smooth:

MBabe - I knew you were good, but not that good! :smooth:

Excellent - a yummy sushi AAQ to you!!

Have any of you gamers gone to THE ART OF DISNEY in DTD???

They have 5 daily trivia questions. I was always make it a point to go in there and try to run the board! Last time I was 4 for 5 - the only one I missed was the pagoda question! So, hats off to you Mbabe!

Thanks 1Hour, seems those names stuck in my head for some unknown reason.

What is the origin of the boulders in the Japan Pavillion's garden and what do they represent?

:smooth:

1Hour...I was there once, years ago. But I don't remember that. Sounds like fun :)

Well...

I'm going to guess they represent EARTH.

My guess is they originated in Japan!!:jester:

1Hour... Yes they do represent Earth. But they are not from Japan... keep guessing :p

:smooth:

MBabe...did they bring the boulders in from the Rocky Mountains? Hey, it's a blind guess, but sometimes they work! :p

No correct guesses so far, it's not a really old date either, it's in the 20th century.

Who's going to see Pirates tonight? I can't wait!

MBabe, are the rocks from Disney property as in when they were excavating?

Are the boulders from the moon:eek:

And how about 1905 for the Boneyard?

We are going to have to wait for the weekend to see Pirates;)

1Hour.... origin: rise, beginning, or derivation from a source, .....Where it came from.

Granny... Not the Rockies.... think "East"

MK... no, not WDW property, boulders like these are scarce in Florida.

Jen.... Not the moon.... (thanks for the morning giggle :p)

Pirates...today.... Hmmmm I may just have to fit that into today's schedule. ;)

MBabe...okay, I'll guess the

Appalachian Mountains
Allegheny mountains
Blue Ridge Mountains
Smoky Mountains

Heck...they're all one mountain chain anyway! :)

And MK, I'll guess that the Boneyard was founded in 1998 when AK opened! :)

MBabe - The boulders originated in...

Korea?
China?
Taiwan?
Tibet?
Nepal?
Okinawa?
Manchuria?
Vietnam?
Thailand?
Laos?
Middle Earth?
Mt. Fuji?
Brooklyn?

Granny, technically yes they were from one of those shotgun guesses, I am looking for two states.... almost there ;)

1hour got it, it "opened" in 1947....AAQ card to you.

Being a native here, I actually do know that, but figured it was worth a try. :p
Did they make them? Are they fake?
