Parks Game! Part 5...Keep Playing! Resistance is Futile!

hmmm no reply yet to that conga line question? Did Mbabe sneak back to nap under that sombrero??? Would Madonna's photo be in RnR?

Nope - all Aerosmith and Steven Tyler pics at RnR...hummm..."Is there a downside to this?"

hummm...PM I have never been inside Planet Hollywood at WDW -so I can't say *no* for sure...

but...I will say this much "This is a PARKS GAME thread - and true to the spirit of the game, I only know this from my memory of walking through the parks, and this picture of Madonna indeed appears in a park!!"

Does this mean that Downtown Disney is OFF LIMITS to this game?

Madonna…I bet that picture is somewhere in the Great Movie Ride…possibly from when she was in "Dick Tracy"

Katheryn & madonna... Yes indeed you can do the conga in the Tiki Room ;)

Simultaneous Fine feathered AAQ cards to Katheryn & madonna :p

madonna..... is there a picture of you in Bobby's room at Cranium Command?

:smooth:

Awesome guess Mbabe - but sorry...no...and Higgs - although you use to be able to see Madonna's costume from Dick Tracy on the backlot tour - that is not it either...

PM - from what I understand - DTD is off limits (as is Disneyland unless the question directly relates to WDW) but don't take my word for it - ask one of our SP officers (Higgs or Kim) 'cause the rules around this place change on an hourly basis!!

PM - Madonna likes to keep the game to In-park. It's her thing. Not that's there anything wrong with that. ;):) Some of us (myself included) think of WDW as the Whole thing, the entire package, the whole rig-a-ma-roll. As a Semantics Police officer, I believe that questions are open to anything WDW related. The vast majority of questions are indeed Parks related - so it all works out.

edit: that's been my belief since the beginning - but the rules do tend to bend occasionally - esp. when people take trips to Disneyland - they try to squeeze those questions in. The PGSP allows this to go on for only so long. We understand that it can be tough to contain that kind of excitement. ;)

Resorts/resort hopping can be a very important and fun-filled experience for any WDW vacation - in fact I highly reccomend it to anyone visiting the WDW area. Taking the monorail around to the Magic Kingdom resorts is a great way to get the flavor of the parks, without paying the admission price. Remember to take the boat to the Wilderness Resorts. And that's my Park Strategy.

Now let me take a shot at my dear friend, Madonna's, question:
Do we see her on the Backstage Pass tour at Studios? I figure she's/you've got to be in Studios somewhere.

-Kim ;):)

WOW! PM - that is all NEWS TO ME!!!

When this thread first was started by supermaki - he said he wanted to start a game "like the resort game one" only about the parks...geez evolution around here had come a LONG way...wish I knew that I could ask resort questions about 50 AAQ cards ago...

As for your guess Kim - nope (for those who suffer from not paying attention - Kim just eliminated MGM as one of the parks that my picture is found in...)

That sounded like a jab at me? I think that was a job at me. Geez, first Varakei, now this. I don't think Madonna likes me anymore. snif snif I'm just gonna go lie under the ponchos...snif

maybe the picture's in the UK pavilion under "imports"

I didn't mean to start in "issue" with my question. I just felt I was being slammed for guessing PH (outside the 4 major theme parks) and was asking for clarification. I thought all of WDW was open to questions. Sorry. :(

Is the picture at MK in the Exposition Hall? or maybe smoochin' with Clinton in the Hall of Presidents? :smooth:

OK....before things get started...Kim, Madonna...I want you to shake hands and make up (kiss at your own option :p)...you were both right on this one...We are all a family here in the CC, and let's all play together
(Ahhh...I love being s Semantics Police officer...:))

Here's a ruling...it seems the game has grown beyond the parks...we have had outside questions for a while now...BUT, Madonna has a point...the game was started to be parks specific...and we have strived to make it that way...
However...there are only so many theme park specific questions out there before we start to repeat ourselves...and it seems the game has become a beast that needs to be fed fresh questions...so...this is truly a case where both sides are correct...the question is, how to reach a compromise...
SO...here's what I propose...for the purposes of this game...a park is defined as anything in WDW besides the actual resort hotels...which would make DTD, Pleasure Island, the water parks...etc. fair game...
But...I would stress that since we are on the theme parks board, let's try to keep the majority of questions there...just know if you think of a question at what we will now call the "lesser WDW parks" that question is OK...as long as the game gets back to the 4 main parks...(BTW...since I have been the most guilty of tossing in DL questions lately due to my recent trip :) I want to remind people that questions with a DL element are OK...as long as they have a clear tie-in to the 4 main WDW theme parks...)I think we can police ourselves on this one...no need to fire up the dreaded black monorail on this one...

Now that the big decisions are out of the way...we can get back to the game :)

Madonna...is that picture in the little girl's room on Spaceship Earth??

I can fully support this strategy. Back in 2001, I had a day trip to WDW while visiting family south of Tampa. I had a choice: buy park tix or buy souviners. Due to funding at the time, it was one or the other, but not both. And I didn't know about the "shopping" ticket (or whatever it's called) till after I got home. I'll tell you something tho, there's nothing more painful than standing at the gates to MK, Epcot and MGM, just a few feet away from being inside, but knowing you can't go in. The closest I got was riding the monorail to Epcot when it loops around so that you're actually in the park. So close, yet so far. :o And next month when I go, I plan to do some resort hopping. :) I always do. :teeth: Soooo... my Parks strategy for today is: "buy" a shopping ticket if you can't get into the parks. It let's you in for about 30 min to roam around and buy stuff (they'll give you every opportunity to give your money to them). If you don't get out in time, they'll charge a one day ticket to your credit card. :o

Okay... I'm done rambling. On with the game. ;)

It's alright Higgs - that was just a little water carry-over teasing of Madonna. As a fellow officer, I will support and defend your ruling as any good PGSP officer would.

Madonna, lovey - If the pic's not at Studios, then I've got no clue. Is it right next to the picture of Owl and Toad on the pooh ride?

-Kim

Kim - I wasnt taking a jab at you - honest!!! (and I sure as heck wanst taking a stab at you about Varakai - on the contrary...just telling you that I love Cirque also, should you feel the need to discuss it - Im all ears!!!) (and I didn't put no darn smiley's 'cause I for one believe that our frienship is strong enough to know when we are joking with one another!!)*Kiss kiss*

No to the other guesses on my picture...all good ones though I might add!!

As you all may have guessed by now, 'tis a Pirate's job to stir up trouble...aargh!! :smooth:

Is the picture at the Toontown Hall of Fame?

Here’s a really wild guess…it is in the Tree of Life…she is pictured in one of the posters in the waiting area of It’s Tough to Be a Bug….
The only other place I can think of is in the Imagination Pavilion…somewhere in that Kodak montage during the HISTA pre-show….

Good to see everyone is back together….GROUP HUG!

Looks like we need a second question...I think this hunny pot shaped AAQ card will do nicely here...:)

Where in the "World" was this picture taken?
