Parks Game! Part 4: Let's Play Some More!!

granny - I fixed the format of the question on the original post (above). Thanks for the heads up.

madonna31 - no....it has a distinct name. In fact, it is on a ceramic sign on building tha faces the plaza...

DisneyJen - no, not Pirata y El Pericho

Walt's Assistant... Is the Plaza simply named..."Caribbean Plaza"?

Granny... Pennsylvania isn't going to give up Jen that easily... (are we guys...jwill, Distriv?) Although, NC is a part of my soul since we spend a beautiful week there every year.... so Jen represent NC well but you always have a friend in PA ;).

:smooth:

Hey guys... Thanks for the pillow fluffing, refreshments and blankets... the doctor can't tell me I'm not resting enough now :)

Mickeybabe, we will still have a strong contingent here.

Plaza de Carribe?

According to my guidemap the only two shopping areas are the "Pirates Bazaar" and "Agrabah Bazaar" in Adventureland of course.

Plaza Del Sol Caribe Bazaar? or just Plaza Del Sol Caribe?

walt...everything I see either says Caribbean Plaza (as MBabe said) or Plaza del sol Caribe (as pintrader said). If not those, I say uncle

Thanks for the warm welcome to the south Brer Karen. We northerners need to stay together;) And as Native Txn says ... ok a variation of it ... PA born and PA bred:) I think I see a real Chalk Circle meet ... and maybe Madonna will stop by and make a guest appearance:teeth:

Mbabe and Jwill ... you know that Penn State blue blood of mine runs long and deep;)

Ok .. back to the game at hand ...

Plaza del Sol?

OK ... so who is up for watching Spectro tonight and the fMK fireworks from the California Grill:)

Morning folks:wave:

I am still looking for the answer to the bonus part of a question from a few pages back:

At what special event did the Electric Water Parade debut?

Here's a hint ... think about where you watch the parade ... and what special things happen at those resorts;)

OK, this is a really wild (and maybe a really bad) guess but was it the opening of Bay Lake to water traffic?

Walt's Assistant it's not a bad guess ... just not the right one.

Here's another hint ... think of the resorts that were open at that time (Oct. 26, 1971).

You are so close Walt's Assistant ... it has to do with the Polynesian Resort:teeth: and something that happens nightly there;)

A floral lei and puka beaded AAQ to Brer Karen. The water parade debut at the dedication of the luau cove and the first luau. Gotta give an assist to Walt's Assistant on the answer;)

Looks like you are up Brer Karen.

I feel guilty using this AAQ. Walt, you led me to it, so you definitely share the honor with me.

Now I have to think of a question....
One of the major attractions in the Animal Kingdom is the Kilimanjaro Safari. What does Safari mean in Swahili?

Main Entry: sa·fa·ri
Pronunciation: s&-'fär-E, -'far-
Function: noun
Etymology: Arabic safarIy of a trip
Date: 1896
1 : the caravan and equipment of a hunting expedition especially in
eastern Africa; also : such a hunting expedition
2 : JOURNEY, EXPEDITION <an arctic safari>
- safari intransitive verb

and the english to swahili says
safari
journey
trip
voyage
