Parks Game...Part 12! I Can't Believe We're Still Playing!

Is this an occurance that Walt noticed while on the skyride or something that the guests noticed while on the skyride and it made them leave?

Hmmm...maybe traffic? They would see rush hour and figure that they needed to leave then? With WDW, Walt would be able to "hide" the real world away (thankfully) so people would forget their worries and spend more time in the park.

OK, this is what I have always heard as to why Walt went outside of S. Cali to build a park. The popularity of Disneyland made so many other hotels and such pop up that he wanted lots of land to build a "world" were the magic would stay. It wouldn't have all the congestion that Disneyland had. He chose FL because of its year-round good weather.

Right you are... a backup on the Santa Ana Freeway! A congested, smog-filled AAQ to you, DisneyCruise! Watch your blood pressure.....:scared:

Thanks N10CJT!

What was the name of the cow that lived in ToonTown that had Mickey-shaped spots on her side?

Glad to see the game I started is still going strong!
:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

I believe the cow's name is Minnie Moo

What part of WDW was actually opened before Oct 1st 1971, when the Magic Kingdom opened it's doors?

Hmmmm, really good question. Well there was the preview center, is that what you are referring to?

Was it the monorail circling the Seven Seas Lagoon passing through the CR, and Poly?

Wait, I think I know it now. It must be the original golf courses, the Magnolia and the Palm.

Leave it to a fellow NY'er to get it right!!!
:cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

Ask away!

Not only that, supamaki, but I was actually born in Huntington Hospital!

And thanks, Amy, one out of two guesses isn't bad.... I was actually thinking about Fort Wilderness because I figured that people might go to a campground even if the park wasn't open, but then I remembered the golf courses, and that made more sense!

But hey, good stumper, supamaki, hope you have some more in the bag!

Here's one that may stump some people. I only know this because of connections to the airline industry!

Which two airlines sponsored previous incarnations of the "Take Flight" attraction that formerly resided in Tomorrowland

Take Flight/Delta Dreamflight/If You Had Wings/If You Could Fly were sponsored by Eastern Airlines, and Delta.
