Parks Game: Part 10! How Perfect is That!!!

Sorry, James, but this was an actual name of the island during the park's operation

I don't see anyone answering that clock question, so I'll guess again that the clock is merely giving the correct local time??

Or maybe it's stuck on 11: 55??

Todd.... I'll guess....

12:05 (Walt's Birthday)

or

11:18 (Mickey's Birthday)

:p

I am not allowed to comment on Todd's Question -- or tell if someone is correct or not - because I got yelled at a while back for that -

So I will just pop my head in and say hello! Still have no clue on the Tom Sawyer question!

Packing for Tampa!

Sorry, Horizons, but it's not Aunt Polly's Island, either.

Hey guys - i just got back from another day with the Mouse -- went to Epcot today. We had to see the candlelight processional with Gary Sinese (sp?). It was great. I did see someone with a lime green DIS button on... lost them before I could say hi - man was that place busy today (example: 125 minute wait for both Mission Space and Test Track!), not much of a suprise I guess considering the day.

anyway, my guess for Todd's open question- how about 5:45?

and the island.. no clue. good question. :)

anyway

Just dropping by one last time before i go off to the world to march!

Ill see you guys and gals in about a week!!

Here's a late-night hint to the TSI question:

The name of the island has nothing to do with the attraction which is located on it.

Hope that helps

James,

Good guess. Although there was at one time a Treasure Island located somewhere else in WDW, this island is not it.

I'll leave it out there a little longer to see if anyone else has any guesses...

::yes::

Ace - i will throw out a guess -- how about Liberty Island?

adamb

Adam,

Liberty Island is a good guess as well, and makes total sense based on the island's proximity to the land.

OK, then... I'll put this question to rest:

The name of the island was "South Island" according to very early park maps and guides. The larger, long island that now houses Fort Langhorn was called Tom Sawyer Island.

Since no one got this one, I'll throw out a Sunday afternoon softball:

Name all of the "official" airlines of WDW since the park opened

:hyper:

I will start this off...

Eastern Airlines when it openend
and Delta

Nice recovery, Adam...

An "if you had wings/dreamflight" AAQ to you!!

:( (missing IYHW)

Sorry it took so long to get back to the CC. Way too much going on around Chritmas...

Granny gets what I thought would have been a super easy question about the clock on Main Street. It does in fact show the correct local time.

A green timekeeping AAQ to you Granny!!

Good morning CC!

Well, I'm back from sunny Florida and fortunately, the weather in New York isn't so frightful to make the transition less than delightful. The one and half day trip to WDW was rejuvenating and I'll be posting a short trip report to my website some time this week. For now, since it seems to be quiet in the CC, I thought I'd wake things up with my first Where in the World photo, which should be a softball:

Where in the world would you find this:

See? I told you it was a softball. Don't worry, they'll get tougher

A White Gloved AAQ to marty for smacking that one out of the park.
