Parks Game: Part 10! How Perfect is That!!!

Good morning all!

An elagant AAQ card goes to DisneyBen!

The first true float is the Mickey float and the phrase across the front is "...It was all started by a mouse..."

It's true the parade vehicle with the Walt imitator does appear first, but it's not really a float. There's no need to call the semantics police, I've verified these facts with the American Association of Parade Float Manufacturers who agreed with my line of reasoning.....:teeth:

Mount Quackmore? ......how about in Toon Town?

:earsboy:

ADad - it is in ToonTown, but where exactly?

I have got to spend more time in Toon Town when were back at the world in January!

.....I'd have to say at Donald's House or in the Hall of Fame.....but that's kind of a guess.....unless it's right, in which case, I knew it all along!

:earsboy:

ADad - you do need to spend more time in Toon Town - Donald doesn't have a house - he has a boat, the Miss Daisy - and that is exactly where you can find a map - complete with a picture of Mount Quackmore!

A mountainous AAQ to you!

I've always thought of Donald's place as a "house-boat", (it does have a mail box...doesn't it? ) but I suppose you're correct. At any rate, thanks for the AAQ card!

I think I'll toss one in the spirit of the season:

Where in WDW can you find Christmas items year 'round? Give loactions and descriptions of the items.

:earsboy:

Well ADad it looks like it's just you and me today.

I know CoP has a year round christmas (even though the ride is not open year round??) Anyway - it has a tree, garland, wreaths, nutcrackers, gifts, ribbons, etc

and isn't Sir Mickey's shop in Fantasyland a christmas themed shop??

ADad - also had a thought the Glaz and Porcelain (sp) shop in Germany sells ornaments - including the pickle tree, and they sell nutcrackers too.

Are nutcrackers Christmas items??

Don't forget Disney's Days of Christmas in Downtown Disney. (Even though it's not in the parks, the question said WDW)

::yes:: -A

(Anyone have any pictures from MouseFest online yet?)

Merry Christmas, Ya'll !!!

You can find Christmas at Disney's Days of Christmas in DTD.
(you did say IN WDW--does this count since it's not in the Parks?)

Items: large assortment of hand-crafted ornaments, cards, candles,Santa hats with Mouse ears, etc.

:Pinkbounc ::yes:: :Pinkbounc

WOW.... Sorry about that... don't know what happened and I can't delete my own posts! :(

Dont remember the name - but there is a Christmas store in MGM as you leave Beauty and the Beast - It has ornaments and such - pretty sure it is all year around...

It is where I bought my annual Tinkerbell ornament ;)

Sorry for not responding sooner, but I had a meeting that ran a little long.

AAQ cards go to 1Hr for Gremany at Epcot and CoP, AKQJ10 for Disney's Days of Christmas @ DD, WDWTHEPLACETOBE for the same, and Beth for the Christmas stuff next to B&tB.

I'm not sure about Sir Mickey's in Fantasyland....I know they have Christmas items prior to and during the season, but I'm not sure about year 'round.

However, there still remains one more shop that is obviously year 'round.....I thought it would have been named right off the bat....anyway, there's still one more to go.

:earsboy:

 ADaddy.... "It's a Wonderful Shop" in MGM just outside of Muppetvision 3D ::yes::

:teeth:

Has anyone mentioned the Christmas shop next to Liberty Tree Tavern in MK?

Yes!!!!

Granny nailed it!

Ye Ole Christmas Shoppe in Liberty Square at the Magic Kingdom!

MBabe, I forgot about It's a Wonderful Shop, but it counts too!

Just to recap, festive AAQ cards got out to the following:

Granny
MBabe
1Hour
AKQJ10
Wdwtheplacetobe
and Beth

Congrats to all......now ask away!

:earsboy:

Wow, It is slow in here today.

I think we need a wiffle ball to be thrown out to get things going again. So here it is...

Who flies out of the castle to get the Wishes show going? Bonus if you can tell me who used to fly back to the castle to end the fireworks show.

I know...that's an easy one, but a question needed to be asked. The PG had gotten half way down the page! That CAN"T happen.
