Parks busier with free dining?

Is really that much busier with the free dining plan? We had friends that went down last Sept and they walked right onto every ride. They said it was not busy at all. We went in the middle of Oct and it was more crowed then. It think it was b/c of the food and wine festival plus MNSSHP.

While the free dining plan might make some people go in September who would not have gone otherwise, September is still pretty empty. ANy time schools are in session parks will not be as crowded as when schools are closed.

We took advantage of the free dining last September. It wasn't that much busier then it normally is in September. We still had very low waits to no waits on the rides. It's a great time of year to go!

My Mom and I took advantage of the free dining last year, and the crowds were not bad. I think the bigger difference is that the restaurants may be busier than they normally would be with the same crowd level, since people who may not normally do many table service restaurants will be, since it's free. So, while it's usually pretty easy to wing it without ADRs during the off-season, you may want to consider making ADRs during the free dining promotion.

We did the free dining last year, checking in on Oct. 1st. This was the way it seemed to be for us. October is our normal time to go anyway, and though the parks seemed a hair more crowded, it was the restaurants that were packed. Signs were up every day informing people that no TS openings were available that day and leading guests to CS restaurants. I think its imperative that anyone going during ths time make ADR's.

We went last year during FREE DINING and it was not that bad. The only problem we had was to be sure to get your fast passes!!! for the BIG rides YOU MUST ride!!!
