Wondering what everyone’s thoughts are about visiting the parks before a cruise right now. We are coming down for the Princess 5k and then will be on the Dream the Monday following. We are considering going to one of the parks that weekend but seeing so many testing positive at the port is scaring us.

I think we’d be ok if we wore our masks the whole time and kept our distance.

I wouldn’t be willing to risk it.

IMO even the Princess 5k has some risk to it, but not nearly as much as the parks. Are you driving or flying down? If you test positive and are driving at least you can take the refund and drive home easily. If you flew if and tests positive at the port that's a whole different story- needing to either quarantine in a hotel for several days and then fly home or rent a car and drive. My risk tolerance would depend on how much of a pain it would be if someone were to test positive at port.

we are driving because we don’t want to risk being on a plane. The 5k is definitely risky. We are planning on wearing n95 masks while in the corral and around any large groups and hope that is enough

We have had to cancel our January 2022 cruise due to a case of covid the week of our sailing. It was so disheartening. We rebooked for March 5, and plan to mask, social distance, and do everything we can to stay covid free and test neg at the port.

Perhaps do the Castaway 5k run instead, and go to the park after the cruise?
