My wife has a California disabled parking permit . Will she be able to use the permit at Disneyworld next month or does she need to a special pass from the Disney folks????.....she will be staying 'on property'......thanks.....
I saw what Wheelsie said: Not a problem.
The thing you might want to be aware of is where the handicapped parking is. If she has her own wheelchair or ecv, you should park in the handicapped parking. If she will need to walk to the park entrance, you are actually better parking in the regular lot and use the parking trams that bring you to the park entrance. You can ask to be parked on the end of a row near the tram pick up. They save those for special needs. She would actually walk less doing that than parking in the handicapped lot.
WE never drive to MK. If you drive, you need to take the monorail or boat from the Ticket and Transportation area to the park entrance. If you are staying on site, the MK bus drops you off right at the entrance. Almost all of the buses are equipped to handle wheelchairs and ecvs.
Valet parking is complimentary to handicapped/disabled guests. I have a hanging handicapped parking permit from my state & had no problems last month. Enjoy!
