Just 3 more sleeps before we start our drive!
My question is, how do I get to the parking structure? We have been to DLR many times, but we have never driven to the park as our hotels have always been within walking distance. Can we get to it from Harbor Blvd.? Also, if not from Harbor, I need to meet with someone 1st, anyone know a good meeting spot?

Yes, you can get to the parking structure from Harbor. The area is clearly marked with signs. No matter which direction you're coming from, you should be able to easily see where you'll need to enter to get to the parking area.

The Mickey and Friends parking structure is NOT on Harbor. Up until a couple years ago you used to be able to enter off Harbor and drive a round about way to the west side of California Adventure then north onto Disneyland Drive to the structure. That enterance has been closed off with the construction of Carsland.

The Mickey and Friends garage is located on the southwest corner of Ball and Disneyland Dr. This marks the northwest corner of Disneyland property. There are exits from I-5 onto Disneyland Drive which puts you directly into the garage. Or you can enter off of Ball Rd and south on Disneyland Drive or head north from Katella onto Disneyland Drive.

An alternative is to use the new Toy Story lot located on the east side of Harbor just south of Katella. At this lot a free Disney bus will take you to the main gates. They do have ticket sales available at this lot.

This really depends on where you are staying or at least where you are coming from.

If convinient the Toy Story lot may be a much better option. M&F is not the end all be all of DLR parking now.

We will be staying at the DoubelTree. Our 1st morning we will be going directly to the park from I5 southbound.

There are two Doubletree Inns near Disneyland. From either it would be much easier to use the Toy Story lot. From the Harbor Doubletree Inn it maybe possible to walk to the Toy Story lot buses. That would save parking $'s since you'll already be paying for parking at the hotel. Another option is to use ART bus from the Double tree but the Disney buses are much faster and are free. The Toy Story lot enterence is off Harbor and Convention Way.

From I-5 south it will be wellmarked. You can exit to the right or from the carpool lane, either will drop you onto Disneyland drive heading south to the M&F garage.

For the DoubleTree you will want to use the Toy Story Lot. And if you want when coming south on I-5, exit onto Harbor or wait until Katella, in any case you will need to go southbound on Harbor to the TS lot.

From either DoubleTree, the convention center or Block at Orange you want to be going northbound on Harbor. From the convention center Double Tree this will require a U turn. You will find the Toy Story lot on the right. Toy Story is very simple to park in and you won't want to go to the M&F garage over it. It's so easy you may really want to park there the arrival day too, to get to your hotel quicker afterward.
