Does WDW always charge for parking or do they stop after a certain time? I know I might get flamed for this, but we don't get in to Orlando until afternoon and thought it might be fun to see Wishes and the Electric Water Parade the first night from the Poly/TTC/ or the ferry. I don't know if we could get into the poly without a reservation and really don't want to pay $10 for parking just for a few hours. And yes we are also staying off-site

I really don't know for sure. Does the Poly charge for parking nornally? I didn't think it did. So I would assume you could park for free and watch it.

If your planning on going to the Polynesian just to watch Wishes without an ADR, they might not let you in. The reason is there maybe a lot of guests with ADR's that night, so they need to save as many parking spaces as possible & they need to save a lot of spaces for guests staying at the Polynesian. So without an ADR it might be hard to park at the Polynesian just to save $10.00 on parking.

Not sure when they stop charging, but we have gone late to MGM on several occationss and there is nobody at the guard shack. It has been after 7:00pm.

Just because they would not have someone at the Magic Kingdom gates, it still has no effect if the OP would be let into the Polynesian without an ADR.
