Those costs are insignificant, a tiny drop in the bucket for Disney.

Do you have any idea how much asphalt costs are? Trust me, the costs of maintenance on their parking lots, which are acres in size, is not insignificant.

The costs of maintaining the parking lots, running the trams, paying the lot CMs, collecting trash, etc. is not insignificant. But, yes, it's a major revenue generator.

Quite unlike some Six Flags parking lots that are riddled with potholes, are a free-for-all with no attendants, and have no trams.

Definitely. And the lot wasn't created on its own -what did it cost to pave that lot?

When does the rate(s) increase stop! It's getting out of control in my opinion. That's an 18 percent increase!

It does not stop. The concept of supply vs. demand will always drive the service provider to find the ceiling for the pricing of their products. Eventually, as they near their ceiling the increased will get smaller and then only be equal with inflation. Disney wants first timers, people doing "once in a lifetime" trips. They spend the most per person. Parking is a cash cow everywhere. Try parking in downtown Boston for a couple of hours =$36.

I really, really hope Disney closes this loophole somehow. It's going to be even more impossible to get a campsite.

And when exactly is this miraculous $49/site? The cheapest time of year is $58 and it's rare to get a discount on the campsites anymore.

Oh, rest assured that Disney, before long, will close the loophole at least for the parking aspect by simply raising the price of a campsite for one night by $20.00....
