Parking Question

How long before park closing do they stop charging the parking fee to enter the lots?Thanks.

I've never driven around WDW but I can't imagine that there is a time when they stop charging - just a time when they stop letting people enter.

I could be wrong.

They actually keep at least one lane into the lots open all night. This is because people often leave a car in the lot than go to another park and have to take a taxi in later. As for what time they stop charging to my knowledge if you are going in to park it does not matter what time it is you will be charged. I am curious why you want to know.

Actually they do stop charging or at least that is what we have found...on several occasions in the early evening hours when we have driven to both Epcot and MGM there has been no one at the booths when you enter. Cars just stream in then and find their own parking.

My guess would be because at that point most people have all ready paid for the day elsewhere or coming in late are AP holders or resort guests anyway. But for whatever reason we have found that to be the situation.

I don't know that there is a set time but I have gone to the parks later and there wasn't any CM's in the booths. I use my AP so don't pay anytime.

Thanks for the information.I was just curious.I saw the booths unmanned one night and was a little surprised to see that since they definitely charge admission to the parks right up until closing.

We got over to Epcot quite often about 7 PM or so and usually there is no CM in any of the booths.

just back--drove right in to epcot at 6:30 p.m.--no CM, no fee
