This is the first time we will be renting a car in Florida. Do I have to pay to park at an onsite resort? What if we drive to the parks do I have to pay to park there if we are staying onsite? Thanks.

No. If you are staying at an onsite WDW resort, you will be given a parking pass when you check in. It is good for the length of your stay. Just put it on the dashboard of your car.

There will be no charge to self-park at any of the resorts or the parks. There is only a charge if you elect to take advantage of the valet parking service available at selected deluxe hotels.($6/day plus appropriate tip).

Best wishes -
