Parking Question

Hi all!

We are staying at the Royal Pacific in June. On our check out day we'd like to leave around lunchtime to go check into our Disney hotel and then come back to Universal.

Does anyone have any advice on the parking situation? I know RPR will have already charged us for parking, but won't they have deactivated our room key, thereby not letting us back into the lot?

Basically, is there any way around being charged twice for parking?

You can always get back into the lot by taking a ticket. I don't believe that they deactivate your key at check out since you still use it to get out of the parking lot. Just ask at the desk. You only get charged per NIGHT, so really, you shouldn't be getting charged twice.

Your room key is good that whole day for express, so you are allowed to stay parked in the parking lot.

So if I have a room booked for one night, can I park my car in the hotel lot for two days (check in day and check out day) and only pay one $20 parking fee?

Yes. It is $15 to self park.
