Parking Question at Paradise Pier

We are having breakfast (Lilo & Stitch) at the Paradise Pier Hotel on Dec 20th. Can you park at the hotel for free while eating and then drive to the big parking garage, or can you park at the hotel all day?

I have a feeling that parking situations are going to drive me nuts on my upcoming trip.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Your parking at the hotel would be comped for 5 hours, I think, and then you'd have to pay. I think it would be better to just park at the parking structure and walk to the hotel. I've done that a few times, and it is less than 10 minutes to walk to the hotel from there.
