Parking @ PVD

we use preflightparking.com prices are pretty good, you can print a coupon for 20% off or prepay for 25% off.:thumbsup2

WE always use PreFlight parking. Print out the discount coupon on their site. You will park your car, and the shuttle bus will then pick you up at that parking spot. It will return you to that spot when you return as well. It has worked very well for us. And it is pretty easy to find..unlike the one at Logan.

we used to use airport valet, until one time when they lost DH's truck keys. He had to be driven home (over an hour drive) to get his spare key, then back to PVD to pick up his truck, drive home and then have another key made. We had to fight with airport valet to get them to cover the cost of getting a new key (over $100 since it has a chip in it). So now we go to preflight parking!

We always use PreFlight too and don't forget that coupon! They have a shuttle that always seems to be there waiting to pick someone up. Even coming home I don't think we've ever waited even 5 minutes for the shuttle. It's very quick and easy.

The parking lot is pretty close to the airport and it's right on Route 1 - very easy to find. Kind of diagonally across from the airport's exit. I'm sure the website has directions.

Agreeing with Preflight-we use them all the time and have never waited more than 5 min. for a shuttle :)

I know you are only interested in parking but just an fyi for you or anyone else flying out of PVD maybe with an early flight....

I am staying the night before at the Comfort Inn Airport hotel for $123 total and it includes 10 days of parking. Its a room with a whirlpool, a fridge, an indoor pool and free shuttle and free breakfast.

A great option when you have a very early AM flight. :thumbsup2

We always just park in the long term lot for $55.00 per week.

PVD has a coupon for $50 per week, for their Lot E. I think we'll do that, not sure if preflight would be any better? We need to park our car for two weeks.

if you prepay at Preflight parking it is $46.46 per week. From their website:

Try parking at our Providence location for the low rate of $9.71 per 24 hr. period with a weekly maximum of $46.46 by making a prepaid reservation (rates INCLUDE all taxes and fees).

I've never had a problem with Airport Valet, used them over 10 times so far. My only issue, and I think it is for all the off site services, is waiting for the darned van. Some winter days can get pretty cold out there waiting on the second curb. Seems to me they had better service before they moved around the corner. (the drivers are still friendly, it's just the timing)

we used them a lot before the time they lost DH's keys then I just didn't feel comfortable. We had no problems with them except for that incident. At Preflight, you keep your keys with you so now I don't worry about them getting lost. Plus, Preflight has a frequent parking program(maybe Airport valet does too though?). Dh travels a lot for business and it's nice to get the free parking for our family vacations. :thumbsup2
