Parking on resort

A poster recently had a carnival cruise sandwiched between 2 DVC (free parking) stays. Wanted to leave the car in WDW. Don't do it was the consensus.

Do folks who are doing Disney cruises do this?
I was thinking about that after reading this post and that was one scenario I thought this could be a time where you'd leave your car on Disney property and not be there, when you are on a Disney cruise and returning to stay
But not being cruise people I didn't know if you'd do that or not. Maybe you'd just drive to the Port when you have a car?

The OP in the other thread wanted to take cruise transfers to/from MCO.

Agree with others not sure why someone would do this unless they get free parking at disney? Wouldn’t a long term lot at airport be cheaper?

Disney would likely only charge the nights you are staying there.

Ohhhhhhh ok got it. Yeah in that case I agree can’t “reserve” a spot without reserving a room. Dicey.
