Parking on check out day

I searched the FAQ's but didn't see this addressed. If someone could point me to the correct thread or answer my question I would appreciate it! My friend and her family will be at Ft. Wilderness with a trailer in Dec over Christmas. They are spending a few days at Disney and then moving to a cheaper campsite for the rest of their vacation. On the day they check out is there parking for them at Ft. Wilderness or at the parks? Will they get the free parking for the trailer as park guests that final day? TIA!

It should not be a problem. We do it every trip. We leave the campsite and drive to the Magic Kingdom. Just follow the normal parking procedures and the parking guys will direct you where to go. They usually put us facing the opposite direction of the rest of the cars. It usually takes up about 10 or 12 spaces. Just be sure they have their parking permit and their should be no charge. Tell them to have a great time.

They can leave there rig in the overflow lot until the end of their day on their check out day.
They can still use the Disney transportation system until the end of that day.
They can not sleep in their rig in the over flow lot.
