Parking in the Resort Hotels??

Hi

This will be our first time on-site but I think we'll still have the rental car with us. If we're staying at POFQ, i'm assuming we can park for free (and in the parks as well). But what if we have reservations at Ohana or Boma, can we drive to those hotels and park? Don't you have to go through security?

And once we're staying off-site how does that work with parking in the resort? Do you have to pay or show security a reservation number?

We have parked at other resort hotels no problems, all we've been asked for is Photo ID. We have just kept our Disney hotel parking pass visible for security to see.
When staying off site again report to the security gate and they will ask for your photo ID, you will be able to park free of charge.
The only time you will have to pay for parking when staying off site is when you go to a theme park.
