We are heading from Philly to Hoboken (to visit Carlos Bakery...yum!) and then off to NY for the night. We want to take the train into NY, and need to find parking.

Should we park at the train station? How much is it overnight?

Thanks!

garage B is on Hudson and 2nd and it looks like it's $30 for up to 24 hours, but it might be full. you can park overnight ($28 for 24 hours) at the maxwell place garage on 11th and 2 blocks from washington...carlo's bakery is between 1st and 2nd on washington...not too bad of a walk.

We went to Carlos a few weeks ago....parked right in front of the store at meter. There were tons of spots in front of it:confused3. I was expecting to walk miles to get there.

Quentina - was there a lineup to get into Carlos Bakery?

Nothing....just us?? Is kind of ruined the entire thing as we were hoping for the entire experience-including the large crowd. IM me you personal email and I will get the photos from my friend and send to you (if you are interested).

There are a number of garages within a few blocks of the PATH station. It's $30 overnight. Just make sure that they will be open when you want to pick the car up -- we went on a Saturday and almost parked in a garage that would be closed on Sunday, when we needed to drive home to OH!

Don't know about Carlo's, we didn't have time on our last whirlwind venture lol.

i would not try to park on the street overnight in hoboken, they have a lot of restrictions and you could easily end up towed or ticketed if you don't carefully read the signs. there are a few parking garages so i would use those and then take the path in and out. you could also visit hoboken, park elsewhere, and then take transportation in from somewhere else like the ferry in west new york.

Your best bet is to park in the Municipal Garage B as this garage is manned 24/7 and only steps from the Bakery and the train station. Lines at the bakery are much longer on weekends but don't seem to be as bad as they were during this past summer.....Enjoy your trip!
