I'm staying in WDW for a week in November and will have a rental car. Halfway through the trip, friends will be arriving at MCO (via US Air) to spend the rest of the vacation with us. If I want to pick them up at the airport, does anybody know where I can park? Has anyone ever done this, and if so, can you tell me the procedure?
If it's very difficult, or expensive with parking & tolls, perhaps I'll just have them take a towncar. Thank you in advance !

If you are in the parking garage parking is free for 30 mins or less. It is only $2 for an hour.

Just park the car and walk over to the landside building.

I did this in May to pick up DH. It was real easy. Just follow the signs to parking garage. Just make sure what level you are on. I thought I was on the roof, but it turns out I was one level down from the roof, but half of that level happened to be uncovered.

There is a Denny's and a Chiles just N of the airport. An alternative is have breakfast or lunch. Have your friends call you on your cell phone when they get to baggage claim and pick them up without parking.

You'll never get out in 30 minutes or less. Trust me.

If you have cell phones and they are daring they could hop a hotel shuttle, then you meet them at the respective hotel (their choice in case the shuttle driver checks ID's) outside the airport!

Yes, I'm the one who suggests using the north airport exit to the first traffic light left, then a mile to two quick lefts at lights onto the Bee Line (528) to I-4 to get to Disney and save on tolls. On the way back to the airport via I-4 to 528's exit 9 Tradeport and cross under, use middle lane and right onto McCoy.

I have done it many times in under 30 mins. Even if it costs $2 that isn't much.

Also the tolls to reach WDW is only $2. Much easier to take 417 and avoid the hassle of the Beeline and I-4. I would rather arrive relaxed than stressed because of the traffic on I-4.

When I've picked up our son at MCO, I've circled until he calls and tells me he's almost to the departure area (with no checked bags). Swoop in and pick him up at the curb.

Once when I arrived early, I drove North to the area Lewis desccribes and read until he called.

I heartily agree that the tolls on 417 are very worthwhile...nothing worse han sitting in traffic on I4 when you want to be at WDW. Years ago the BeeLine was the only fast way but traffic wasn't so bad in those days either.
