Parking for Chef Mickey

We are planning a large family trip to celebrate my mom and dad's 50th. We are staying off-site, so all of the families will have cars. We have a 7:20 AM reservation for Chef Mickey. We also want to do MK that day. I know we can't park in the Contemporary lot for longer than 3 hours. So my question is . . . is it possible to park in the MK lot, walk to the Contemporary for breakfast, and then ride the monorail to the MK? I wasn't sure what time the MK lot opens or how far the walk would be to the Contemporary.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

You can park at the MK lot(TTC) and ride the monorail to CR then walk or ride the monorail to MK after your meal. You cannot walk from the TTC lot to CR.

I would call the Contemporary and ask if you car can stay in valet for longer than 3 hours. If so, I would pay the 12.00 valet fee and leave the car at the Contemporary. I'm not sure if this is allowed but they might allow it since you are paying the Valet fee. For me, it would be worth the 12.00 charge -- if it is allowed. I know, I've left my car in Valet for longer than 3 hours but I didn't even think to ask about a time limit. In fact, I didn't even know they had a 3 hour time limit at the Contemporary.

There's a 3 hour limit for "non guests" at almost all the WDW resorts--when they choose to enforce it and hand out those 3 hour parking passes.
But that's for the general lots--I do not believe there is any real limit at valet parking. At least the valet check you get has no time limits listed.

But there IS a sign at the Contemporary that says something along the lines of "parking not for the purposes of going to the MK"
Or something like that
