Have reservations at a few resorts I'm staying at bonnet creek so now on property. If I have reservations at the contemporary can I just leave my car after and walk in or hop on the monorail? That way I do not have to park in the park?

Bonnet creek is not a Disney property(Wyndham and Hilton are the owners of those resorts) and even if it were you cannot leave your car at the Contemp. and go to a park. It is not permitted. You will have to go to the park and park your car there.

No you cannot.

You will be allowed to park at the resort for up to 3 hours (for a meal). The only way to park for the entire day at the resort is to pay for valet parking - $15 a day + tip.

As the PPs said, parking at the resorts is for guests while they are enjoying the amenities of the resort. So, while you are eating, shopping, looking around the resort, you are welcome to park there. Once you are ready to leave the resort, you should move your car. You can valet and leave it all day ($15 plus tip).

Given that your asking about the monorail, I would suggest parking at the TTC and then take the monorail to the resort where you're having breakfast. That way, you don't have to worry about moving your car after you eat.

They are very strict about the 3 hour policy at the CR since the parking lot is not that big. So as the PP mentioned it is best just to park at the TTC

Parking at resorts for park access is not provided. This is applicable even if you eat at that resort.

I have parked at a lot of resorts for meals in all seasons and never once received the dreaded 3 hour parking pass or been told I can only park there for so long. Never any problems.

And I have seen them flat out turn people away from resorts unless you were staying there. Happened at Boardwalk. Even those with reservations were being turned around to park at the outer lots.

People on here have received the parking passes.

Best to make sure the OP knows what can happen.

Plus, parking at the resorts is NOT meant for theme park access no matter how you slice it.

Ok...before this gets heated, and it will,...........
many have parked at resorts, had breakfast and then headed to a park for the day. For instance, park at the CR, eat at Chef Mickeys and then walk over to MK. Does Disney want you to do this? No. There are parking lots for the parks for a reason. There are lots at the resorts. Lots at the resorts are for the use of those either staying at said resort, or using the amenities of that resort. Parking, for park access, is not supposed to happen. At busier times of year, or during special events, they have signage up to that fact.

Can you get away with it? Yes, you can. And you may run into a CM that tells you it's perfectly fine to park there all day. But, if you ask anyone in authority, they will tell you that you can valet park and go anywhere you want for the day. If you self park, you are entitled to park there while at that resort...not for the next 12 hrs while in a park.

Generally speaking, those that want to park at the resort and then head to a park, are trying to avoid paying parking fees. And no matter how you look at it, that is wrong. They are supposed to 1. move the car to a park lot after eating, 2. pay to valet park at the resort, or 3. park in the park lot and then get to the resort via Disney transportation. (in this case, park the TTC, and monorail over to the CR, eat, then head wherever you want)

So, do what you feel is right.

That's a really good idea.
