Parking for an Illuminations cruise

We will be sharing an Illuminations cruise. The PS is not in my name. The other family booked it.

We are going to be eating in World Showcase at 5:30, and then walking over to the YC, for the cruise.

After the cruise, I really don't want to have to go back through Epcot, to the car. Would they even let me back through the gates, since Epcot is tech closed at that time?

Is there a place we could park that would be more convenient? Closer to YC.
Not sure is there is parking for non-resort guests, for that long (approx 5 hrs.)

Ask the cruise captain to let you off at the International Gateway dock after the cruise. That's what the family we shared our cruise did. They had no trouble getting back into EPCOT to walk to the front entrance - I'm sure they just explained to the CM why they wanted back in.

Thanks for the reply. That's prob. what we will do. I'm just so excited about the cruise. We have never done one, but have tried every visit.

You could do valet parking at either BW or YC/BC. I don't think that there is a time limit for valet parking and it would make the most sense for you.

I'd do the valet parking too and stop off at Beaches & Cream after the cruise-yum!

We did the Illuminations cruise in August, and just parked in Beach Club self parking area!

Another option is to park at the BW. It is open to the publec and a lovely place to end your evening. Quick walk to Epcot and you can take the boat over the hte BW when you are done or walk over. It is always nice to end the evening strolling over there (rather than participate in the wilderbeast stampede to the parking lot)
