Parking Fees?

I can't figure out where to post this so I figured I'd post it here.

We're staying in Orlando for a full week, but not "doing" Disney the last three days of the trip, but rather hitting other Florida fun spots. We plan on renting a car for Friday - Monday at the end of our trip and it is starting to look like staying at a value resort (even when we're not doing Disney) will be cheaper than finding another hotel close to the airport like I'd planned. BUT, I keep reading that there is a $15-$25 (depending on where I read) parking fee each night. If that's the case, it WOULD be cheaper for us to stay somewhere else those last few nights in Florida.

Is anyone familiar with parking costs for Disney resorts? I can't seem to find a straight answer!

(FWIW, we're staying at POP for the Disney part of our vacation)

There is no fee at Disney-owned resorts, including the Value resorts.

The Swan, Dolphin, and some major-chain hotels are located on Disney property, but are not owned by Disney. Many of these hotels charge a parking fee.

Only the parks have parking fees for those NOT staying at a Disney Resort. None of the Disney Resorts charge for parking for resort guests.

That's also true.

Swan and Dolphin guests also park for free at the parks.

Swan and Dolphin can park for free at the parks. BUT Both the Swan and Dolphin charge a parking fee to park at there hotel. The hotel parking fee is $16 a day for those staying at either the Swan or Dolphin
