We'll be driving over to Boston and then flying out to Orlando. DH would like to know ahead of time their parking fees. Does anyone have a clue? Thanks

Not sure where you are, but would it be cheaper to take a car service to Logan? Then you don't have to worry about your car. We've been happy with North Shore Shuttle, if you are on the north shore.

Just an FYI. If you do the economy lots they are a ways away from the airport so leave enough time for taking the shuttle. Also they are in uncovered lots so if you park there is the winter you could come home to a snowed in car so pack a shovel!

I would highly recommend North Shore Shuttle too. Much cheaper than parking and they are always prompt. They even bring my parents breakfast when they have an early flight!:thumbsup2

The last time I parked my car at Logan it was for three days in the more expensive lot and it had a scratch on it. IMHO it's not worth the risk.

The three of us back in 2004 flew out of Boston to Orlando and opted to stay a night at a Boston hotel through www.parksleepfly.com. You get to leave your car there (free parking for the length of your trip), and they provide free shuttle to the airport and then pick you up on the return trip.

I'll second that. We have used them twice this year without a problem.

We are in Maine and fly out of Logan, and we found it much more economical to rent a car and drive their, and rent another car to drive home. We spent about $80 this way, as opposed to the $144 parking would have cost us.

We're from the North Shore also, and when my brother and I go to West Palm in March, we take the Logan Express on Rt 1 in Peabody. Last year we paid $100 to park for 10 days, but now the sign says $44 for up to 2 weeks. So we'll take it again in March, and my DS and I will take it when we go to Disney in Aug. (DW and DD are taking the train). The shuttle is great, around $20 r/t, and it drops you at your airline. Same thing coming home. I believe it runs every 20 or 30 minutes from Logan. Good luck !!:thumbsup2

Parking at Logan has been out of control for years. Logan Express from Braintree, Peabody, Framingham and Woburn is a very good value and you don't have to deal with the traffic expecially since the Ted Willilams Tunnel still isn't fully functional (if your coming from the West or South). Driving in the area is awful. I worked at the airport fairly regularly back in the early 90's and got very very comfortable driving around there. Now its a completely different story.

Its so much more convenient to fly out of Manchester, NH or Providence, RI. Parking is less than 1/2 of what it is to park around Logan for the same amount of time. Flight prices are just about as good (sometimes better). Last time we went to Disney we flew out of Manchester. What a world of difference. No traffic getting in or getting out. Parking was so easy. Much less stressful than Logan. In Nov we're most likely going to fly out of Manchester again unless the ticket prices out of Logan really nock out socks off.

We did this last year, went to Boston a day early spent the night. Got up next day took shuttle to Logan. When we got back the car was cleaned off. It was better than leaving it at Logan.

Now when we fly out of Manchester we leave our car at a near by hotel. You can leave your car there and they have a shuttle to and from the airport. The hotel is just next door to the airport. I think it's around $7 or $8 a day to park there, they also clean the car off for you. They even will bring you right to the car and put your suitcases in. We will be doing this in two weeks when we go visit friends in Florida.

Handicap18 - If your thinking to fly out of Manchester there is a free shuttle from Sullivan Square & Woburn every 2 hrs around the clock.

If I were to fly out of Logan I would definatly take a town car, so much easier and stress free. Parking prices are outrageous!

Are you familiar with C&J Trailways? Free parking at the Portsmouth bus station and tickets are $39 r/t (kids ride free). We used to avoid flying out of Logan and have always preferred MHT but since I discovered C&J I don't mind flying out of Logan now since we have a cost-effective way of getting there, and it's nice not having to drive into the Boston area.
