Parking fees at WDW

We are going to WDW on Feb 3 and have rented a car and are staying at Windsor Palms (offsite). My question is... How much can I expect to pay for parking at WDW and we will be there for 5 days is there a pass that you can buy for a reduced fee to parking? TIA

$10 per day. If you park hop, simply show that pass at the next park and you don't have to pay on the same day.

No weekly rates or discounts--unless you have an annual pass. In that case parking is free.

Wow I thought it was 8 the last time we stayed off site. However if you do a little shopping in DTD you can take a bus to any resort then to the parks. Of course then you have to go back to the resort to get a bus back to DTD. The busses run pretty late at night to DTD.

This is a pretty heated debate around here.... people parking at DTD to avoid the parking fee is the reason there are no DTD to/from park buses as well as the reason that there are no morning DTD to resort buses. Not worth the hassle in my opinion. If people still try to do this, parking will eventually be at a cost at DTD too. Too bad, IMHO.

Actually it's because of the people who parked at DTD to avioid the parking fee's, that WDW stopped bus service from DTD to the Theme Parks. Now as you said guests can leave their cars there & take a bus to a Resort, then get to the parks that way. However is it really worth an hour or more doing that, when you can just pay the $10.00 parking fee at the Theme Parks? I mean if you can afford a WDW vacation, you can afford to spend $10.00 to park & chances are you would make more purchases which would be $10.00 or more.

I said if you were shopping at DTD. We have done day trips where we shop at DTD just visit the resorts and sometimes take a ride on soarin or EE. Those are the times in the past when we stayed off site that we used the DTD buses.

We were just there the week before last and the fee was $10 per day for a passenger car. Part of the cost of the fun.

Parking at all or the parks is $10.00 a day. Sorry, there is no multiday discount. If you pay at one park and hop to another with your car, save the receipt from the first park and show it at the toll booth and you will be allowed to park there for no additional cost.

While there is a way to get away with parking at DTD and then using Disney Transport to get to the parks, I don't recommend it for many reasons. First is the time involved. You either need to bus to a resort and to a park or boat to POR and bus to a park or walk to SSR and bus to a park. Now in all of these, you waste tremendous amounts of time and also run a greater risk of car damage. DTD is a parking lot in a lot of turmoil. The average time of a car in a space is about 3 hours, at a theme park it's 8 hours. You have higher amounts of vehiculae and pedestrian traffic in and around your vehicle.

IMHO, just pay the $10, it's faster, easier and most likely, in the long run, cheaper.

The other issue with the DTD idea is that buses FROM DTD to the resorts don't start running until an hour or so after DTD opens (which is generally already after the parks open) So you are looking at probably not getting to the park until 11 to noon by the time you do all the gyrations. In addition, the ONLY time I have seen a bus driver ask some POINTED questions was when a family got on with all thier stuff at DTD to ride to the BC in the morning. It was very apparent he knew what they were up to and really I think he considered not letting them on. (I had gotten on with my bag with no problem so he wasn't quizzing everyone just the family with the tons of stuff.)
