Parking fees and modifying resort

I had a hotel booked before the started charging for parking. I just modified the reservation to a different resort. The reservation number is the same as the original booking. Will I have to pay the fee since I modified it or no because the original was made before March?

The answer that I got from my TA and several CMs are a firm "No." Modification on an exiting reservation does not change the fact that the reservation was made prior to the 3/21 date. Enjoy your free parking!!
