We are planning to visit the boardwalk one evening on one of our non park days in February. We will be staying at Pop.
Would you recommend taking the bus or driving and parking at a nearby resort? Are you allowed to park at a resort to visit Boardwalk?

Normally yes, but you may be given a two hour limit parking pass. However during the Food & Wine Festival, parking is frequently limited only to people who are either staying there or have confirmed dining reservations there. Too many people want to park there for free to go into Epcot.

Be careful, we were at CR and they were booting/towin people's cars that weren't authorized to be there. That would be awful.

I think we may just try to take a bus to EPCOT, then to Y&B and walk over? Wouldn't want to be towed for sure. Or is there a boat that runs to the boardwalk from EPCOT? Would we have to be in the park to get access to it?

There is a boat that goes from Disney Studios, then the BW resorts, then Epcot and back. It just makes a big continuous loop. However, to catch it from Epcot you must enter the park, go through Future World, head toward Canada and past the UK in World Showcase and exit out the International Gateway (just past the UK). The easiest way to catch the boat though is from Disney Studios. You don't even have to enter the park. Just veer to the far right as you are walking toward the gate and you'll see the boat dock.

I would just park at the Boardwalk. They have a separate lot for people to park in who are just going to enjoy the Boardwalk's shops, restaurants and nightlife. We've parked there to enjoy the boardwalk MANY times and we've never had a problem!

Same here; we love to go to the Boardwalk for a couple of hours.

Plus, since you are staying at a Disney resort, I don't think you'll have any problems.

This won't work - the only way to get from the front of Epcot to the Epcot resorts is to walk through the park, which will require a ticket

If you want to use Disney transportation, you need to take the bus to DHS and then take the boat or walk to the boardwalk.

If you want to drive, you can pay to valet park at one of the Epcot resorts. It costs $16 plus tip and you can stay for as long as you'd like.

I'm not sure if you know, but there is a transportation board. That's the best place to ask questions like this.

You should be fine parking at Boardwalk in February. They restrict parking at the Epcot resorts when it's really busy (like Spring Break & Christmas & Food & Wine weekends).
