Parking at the Amway Center

We have tickets for the Orlando Magic game on December 29th, and need to purchase a parking pass through Ticketmaster.

Can anyone tell me the difference between the Geico lot and the Blue VIP lot? (Price is definitely one of them......about $25 for Geico and $55 for the Blue VIP........and I can see from the Amway Center map that the VIP lot is right attached to the building and very small, while the Geico lot is a short walk away and has hundreds of spaces).

For anyone that has parked there before, is the Blue VIP lot is worth the extra cost?

I haven't, but I did find this map http://www.cityoforlando.net/transportation/parking/maps/ParkingMap_2012.pdf of the garages. They do appear to be garages though, and not lots - so my concern about potentially being blocked in at the cheaper places appears misplaced .

I just went to a game at Amway Center last week. The Geico lot is $20 on the day of the game. It connects to the arena by a sky bridge. Super easy. I definitely wouldn't spend the extra money for the VIP lot or prepurchase my parking if Geico is $5 more prepay.

To get there, get off the freeway, take a left at the light, go through the next light, and Geico is on your left.
