Parking at RPR

What is the parking lot like at RPR for self parking? Is it just a big lot next to the hotel or a garage? How easy is it to take your car in and out?

self parking is now $15 and valet is $22 per night.
(see what prices have changed to in the past 4 years........)


i personally know two of the posters in that thread.
both stated the parking lot is not a long walk or a bad walk.


hopefully, others will chime in and give their thoughts of more recent stays.

i use private car service so i'm not much help except to locate this older thread for you.

Is the parking rate the same listed above for self or valet for Handicapped? I thought I read somewhere that it was different or free for those with Handicapped stickers.

present parking rates are:
$15 self parking
$22 valet


some have been able to use the h/c placard and had the fee waived, but others have not.

i have no idea how that has happened.

i know at hrh many years ago, they honored the placard and waived the parking fee. Then, their policy changed and it is no longer waived.
those with the car placard are paying for parking at hrh now.

The parking lot is very close to the hotel entrance. Just walk out the front door, down the driveway and across the street. It is very easy to take your car in and out. There is a gate and you just enter your room key and you can come and go.

There is also a small exit if you are parked at the far end from the entrance. as you drive into RPR over the bridge ,there is a small pedestrian crossing just when you turn right to drop off at the door of RPR, if you look to the left at it you will see the exit, saves walking right round if you are parked at that end.

You used to get free parking if you had disabled Placard, but this changed a few years ago and everyone pays now, although would do no harm in asking when you checkin, as like mac said, some people have got it while others have not.

When we were there over Labor Day it was very crowded. The self parking for the resort was full and we ended up in the convention parking. It was a hike to the front of the hotel but you could take a path to the side to save some walking. We were in tower one and it was pretty far. Now if we had been in tower three (convention tower) then convention parking would have been fine.
