Parking at resort prior to check-in time?

We will be staying at the Coronado Springs resort for 2 nights from Friday March 15th until Sunday March 17th. We will be arriving in town around 9am (too early for check-in) and plan to go to one of the parks Friday, and check-in to the hotel early evening around 6pm. Seeing as a big deciding factor in us staying on property this time was the conveniance of not having to commute and/or pay for daily parking at the parks, I am wondering if we will be able to take advantage of that on Friday even though we wont be checked in yet? If yes, do we have to go inside or let anybody know in order to get a parking pass? This will be our first time staying on Disney property so I apologize if this is a silly question. Im assuming that Sunday after we check out we can stay parked at the resort, take the bus to the parks, and come back later in the evening to get our car & head home?

You can check into the resort as soon as your get there. You don't have to wait until the "official" check in time. In fact, you can check in as early at 6 or 7 AM.

I would just go to Coronado Springs, check in when you get there, you will be given all your information and room keys. If your room is not ready, you have the options of (1) getting a text with your room number (2) getting a phone call with your room number or (3) going back to the front desk to get your room number later (#3 is really a silly option but it's available). Then you can move your vehicle close to your room (you will be given at least your building number), grab a bus and go off to the park of your choice. When you return, providing you didn't do #3, you just simply go to your room and that's that.

Your luggage can be stored in your vehicle or you can leave it with Bell Services and just call down for it when you get into your room.

And yes, you can leave your car at Coronado Springs until midnight of the day you check out. You are officially a guest until that time.
