Parking at Radisson?

Has anyone left the car there for a 7 day - my DH is a security freak! Also, how early will the shuttle take you to the terminal as I am a be there early freak!

We have left our car at the Radisson for 3 and 7 day cruises in the past with no problems at all. We plan on leaving our car there this September and October also. I am a get there early freak as well and we have never had any problems with the shuttle in fact we are ususally among the first few people at the terminal! As far as we are concerned this is the best way to do it! Hope this helps!

How much is parking there? Is it much cheaper than at the terminal?

I booked at the Radisson planning on using the parking and shuttle but have read so many things here about the way the shuttle worked I had changed my mind. I understood that you had to make a reservation for the shuttle and even if you did have an early reservation people came earlier than they were suppose to and it was a mess. I am curious from the people who have used the shuttle, how many would found it a pleasure and how many found it to be too much of a hassle?

Also, how do you get back to the hotel to get your care. Are there constant shuttles running from the boat and is there a lengthy wait involved?

I know it is a free service and I'm sure they try to do their best. I am just wondering if it is worth springing from the cost of parking so that the vacation doesn't start and end with a hassle.

When you sign up for a time to take the shuttle they write the time of your shuttle in the paper jacket that holds your hotel key. Then the next morning they also have a paper with who is signed up for each shuttle. A lot of people (probably 10) fit in the shuttle! We always sign up for the first shuttle and have always gotten on the first shuttle. We have never in our 3 times using the Radisson shuttle had any problems getting to or from the ship. The shuttle driver has been the same everytime we have been there and he really knows what he is doing. I imagine that if you are late to the shuttle that they will let someone else go in your place rather than wait on you. We have never parked at the terminal so I really can't help you with that. If things have changed when we go in Setember, I will post about it.

We had no problem with the Rad shuttle. The Avis shuttle also took hotel guest (not using Avis) to the port.
