Parking at PVD - Help

First time flying out of PVD and I'm totally lost on best place to park. We will be gone from 6/24 and returning late on 7/3. I've checked the airport website for parking places for 10 days. We've got driving directions from CT to PVD and will do a test drive run this weekend so we know where we're going. What do you all suggest for parking at PVD airport? Suggestions please. Should I make an advance reservation? Any coupons or discounts for a good rate? We do have AAA. Thanks for your help.

Garage C is your best bet. $56 a week and it's covered parking, with a short walk to the terminal. There is a also a Thrifty nearby that I believe is $59 a week, but you can use AAA for a per cent of that total, but you would have to use a shuttle to get to the terminal. PVD is very easy to get to and other than Christmas or Thanksgiving you should have no trouble finding parking in any lot. Thrifty does do reservations on their web site. Also most of the hotels in the area offer stay, park and fly for reasonable rates if you had an early flight.

I always do Airport Valet. Only a couple of minutes from the terminal and your car is parked for you. They have always been great, and it is $48.00 per week. Coming from CT on 95 get off at the airport exit, go by the airport less than 1/2 mile on the right.

There is also PreFlight parking on Airport Road. We have used that before. They pick you up at your parking space and take you straight to the airport. I think it's $10-12 per day.

I usually just park in the long term lot. Busses are frequent and it has always been fine with me.

Hi,
We parked in the general lot also. My husband left us off at the terminal and he parked the car and took the shuttle bus which run very frequently.I think it was 56.00 for the week. We left the Sunday before Thanksgiving and returned the MOnday after and had no problem parking. Good Luck and have a great trip!

Hi, We always use THRIFTY,they are very accomodating and take AAA. They put your bags on the shuttle,drop you at your airline and take your bags off,all very quick and efficient. When you land just call from the airport and they will pick you up and have your car waiting(heated up or cooled down!). Joan
