Parking at Port Canaveral

I know parking at the actual port is $15/day.

Last time we used ParkNCruise and they were okay.

In looking into other options, I saw one for "Go Port Canaveral" in which parking is free - you are paying for the transfers to/from the port. This is - by far - the least expensive option I have found. I find it odd that they bill it as a shuttle service that includes free parking vs a parking facility but whatever.

Has anyone ever used them?

Discount at the actual Port parking lot for Disney. The Port Authority has partner hotels that give you a voucher for a discount.

We just pay to park at the port. Considering the total cost of the cruise, the savings by parking elsewhere is nominal. We tried offsite parking once and will NEVER do it again. We paid about 1/2 what the port charges, but it was not worth the savings. Waiting for the shuttle and trying to board the bus with all of our luggage for 6 people was not fun (and I got to the port already sweaty). Plus, part of the savings was eaten up by tipping the driver for unloading our bags at the port and still having to tip the porter at the port. It just wasn't a very "Disney" way to start the day. If we park at the port, it just feels like Disney from the very start.

We also just park at the port now too. It is so convenient to have the car right there when we get off the ship.

Yes, the premier lot upcharge pays for itself when you are in your car literally less than five minutes after you clear customs.

We have used park & cruise before, but this time we are trying out a new place called Lots of Honor.

We have always parked in the garage across the street from the Disney terminal and will continue to do so.

Might consider differently if it were several times a year but for one or two cruises a year it's a no brainer for us just based on
convenience alone!

Glad this works for you but I'm still interested in options of parking away from the port. Our experience in non-port parking has been fine other times. I was just looking for info on a new option I hadn't tried.

The Doubletree is really nice. We are Hilton people, and the DT is our go-to over the Hampton Inn and even the Hilton Cocoa Beach itself.

I just got back from Freedom of the Seas. I got quoted $120 for parking at the port and like 72 at several offsite places + tax. Wife and I ended up booking with Go Port Canaveral for just 20 bucks, no tax for the seven nights. Was right across the street from the Doubletree in Cocoa Beach which made us feel more secure, had mixed feelings at first but whatever we have insurance lol. For $100 savings it was definitely worth it, got to the ship on time and back to our car with no issues. Spent that $100 on more important things, drinks, souvenirs, excursions, and tips.

Why do you prefer the DT over the Hampton Inn? I have us booked for the Hampton Inn in July. I've stayed there before and liked it, but it was several years ago. I was looking at the DT but opted for the Hampton Inn since it was a little cheaper and we won't be spending that much time in the room.

Just updating it looks like they added another lot by a mall on Merritt Island? Good for large vehicles, and it looks good for those trying to get last minute shopping in for any final items. $12 per person

Nothing against Hampton Inn. I use them a lot when I travel for business and they do just fine. The DTs rooms are a little bigger, the rooms are a little better-appointed, and the property is a little nicer. I often stay on points, and the point cost of an oceanview king-bed DT room is often the same as a smaller not-as-nice oceanview king-bed Hampton room.

Plus, I am a Hilton Diamond member so I get access to the DT concierge floor and lounge, which Hamptons don't have.
