We are booked for the 5:15 "Spirit" show at the Polynesian and want to return to MK for the parade and fireworks afterwards. We are staying at CBR but wanted to leave our car parked at the Polynesian and take the monorail. Will it be a problem leaving our car at the "Poly" until after the fireworks?

Thanks for any help!

Parking at the Poly lot is for people with reservations for dinner or who wish to do some shopping, or Poly guests. Typically, the parking lot attendant will give you a pass to allow parking up to 3 hours. Anything beyond that, you risk being towed.

A better option would be to park at the TTC (the MK's parking lot), which will be free since you're staying at CBR, then walk over to the Poly (5-10 minute walk next door to the TTC) from there. After the show, hop on the monorail and enjoy MK. After MK, return to the TTC using either monorail line or the ferry, knowing your car has not been towed.

The official line on this is no. Usually the guards at the resort will give you a 3 hour parking pass. So after that 3 hours is up, if you car is still there, it may be towed. However, sometimes the guards will just wave you in without handing you a pass. There is no way to know which situation you will run into ahead of time. Or you can pay for valet parking and be able to leave your car there the whole time.

Really though, the Poly is a 5 minute walk tops from the Ticket & Transportation Center. Why not just park your car there for free and walk to the Poly? You can then take the monorail to the park after your meal, and then back to go get your car at the TTC.

Add another to the recommendation to park at the TTC and walk to the Poly.

Besides the comfort in not having to worry about your parking situation, the walk to the Poly from the TTC can be very enjoyable. Between the vegetation, atmosphere, beach, and general resort goodness, It's not a bad walk at all.

Thanks for all the help, I will definitely opt for the non towed option!

Didn't realize that the Poly was within walking distance. We will be there on the 23rd one day after summer break finishes so hopefully crowds will be a little lighter.
