Parking at MCO

I'm going to wdw for a meeting (July 12!!), and my family will be flying down to join me a few days later. I am renting a car for the whole time, so I will need to pick them up at the airport. Where do I park? How much does parking cost?? I am so used to heading straight to the Emerald Aisle - have never paid attention to anything else! .
Any info appreciated - thanks!

Not sure, but I think it would be best, like at most airports today, to just pick them up at arrival after they have their bags. I would think anything other than that would be a big hassle. Just be in the area, circling the airport, when you expect them there, and have them call you when they are at the pick up area. That is what I would do. Enjoy your time there, always nice to have a meeting in Orlando.

Parking in the garage is $1.0 for 30 minutes, $15/day maximum with a 30 minute grace period.

If you were picking up one person I'd agree with Dan BUT it sounds like you might be needed to help with the luggage.

I would park in the garage and walk over and meet them.

Everything is very clearly marked with signs, so you shouldn't have a problem getting to the parking garage. Just write down WHERE you park! We had to do exactly what you're doing, but we had a heck of a time finding the car to leave!

If you're parking in the garage, remember that there are two sections. The first one is usually very crowded and difficult to find a decent spot in. If your airline is on the far end of the baggage claim, then go to the farther side of the parking garage and you should find ample parking not too far from the elevators.

Also, it is sort of a pain, but, if you have time and aren't sure where your airline is, do a loop around the pick up/drop off zone to check before parking so you can park on the side closest to where your family will be claiming their bags.
