Parking at DTD

We are AP holders, so parking at the parks is free for us. Is it free to park at DTD? Is parking readily available? Can you then use Disney Transportation to go from park to park? I believe this is a "perk" of the AP but want to make sure before we leave.

Parking is free at DTD. Readily available.

You can go from DTD to a resort. They eliminated service from DTD to the parks because so many people were parking at DTD to avoid the parking fee at the parks.

So yes you can park at DTD but if you want to go to a park you will first have to catch a bus to a resort and take a park bus from there.

Thanks so much! That's good to know- I know our parking is free at the parks with the APs, so we aren't trying to avoid paying fees, or anything, just thinking of the convenience factor. I guess we could take a bus to the GF and catch the monorail or to the BC or BW and wal over to Epcot. Thanks again!

Why not just park at the parks? I don't see where you are saving any time by parking at DTD.

You will end up saving lots of time by just driving over to a park from dt disney rather than waiting for a resort bus.

why would you do that. It will add about an hour to your day, both ways.
