Hi, everybody!
I was wondering if there is somehow a separate parking lot for Downtown Disney at DL that doesn't charge parking.
We are renting a car all week to use for airport transfers, transportation to Legoland, and church on Sunday,
but will be using our hotel's free shuttle most of the time to go back and forth to the parks.
We would like to go to dinner at Rainforest Cafe in DD on the evening of our arrival
and would prefer to drive rather than wait for the shuttle (after having the kids on a 7 hr. flight).
I know at WDW, DD is a whole 'nother world, so they don't charge for parking
(although they wisely stopped letting people ride the buses directly to/from the parks to cheat the parking fees),
but since at DL it's all connected, I'm assuming that there is a parking fee for all the lots.
If so, is there a time after which that parking is no longer charged for?
If you're going for dinner or the movies there, is there a system to return with your receipt as a parking voucher?
Just wondering -
I know the hotel shuttle is reliable (have heard good things), but after that long flight,
I don't want to have to drag the kids around on a bus.
Anyone have any specific information about parking at DD?
