parking at disney when not on grounds?

WE always stay on the ground but next March we will be at Orange Lake resort and country club. Does anyone know what our best type of transportation would be from the resort to the parks? If we do rent a car we would get to the parks when they open, where should we park?? if going to Epcot or Mgm can we park at the boardwalk or should we park at the parks? Where to park at MK?

Your best bet is to park in the theme park's designated parking lots. Disney issues a three hour pass when you park at the Resort Parking lots and from what I hear, they are strictly enforcing this rule. Just follow the signs to the designated theme park parking lots and take the trams, it really is faster than you may think..

I never trust the outside hotel's shuttles... They run on inconvenient pre-set schedules, and they WILL leave you behind. Not to mention a lot of those busses are literally falling apart.

So, if you are staying off property, then yeah, you'd need to rent a car or something... When you do... please park in the designated theme park parking lots... from there, you can take Disney Transportation to wherever you need to go.
