Hello. I will be offsite for a long weekend over the winter. I have an AP, DH does not, but we won't be going to the Parks. However, if we want to go to DS for a few hours, is it crazy for me to park my car at a park, then take a bus to TTC, and then to DS? And vice versa.... or is that just simply too crazy?

I don't understand - why would you do this and not just park at DS?

Yeah, if you're not going to the parks, don't park at the parks.

With the OP confused about parking situation at DS thinking its not free this is like a "bizarro world" old school thread of people parking at DTD to get free parking. In this scenario the parking at the parks is free and the guest wants to go to DS because they think they charge. In any case parking at DS is free and in garages which especially during the summer is a godsend keeping your car cool.Maybe someday the Disney parks will build garages at the parks like at DS or Universal, living in Florida and in the middle of August I'm over the heat and when you're already dripping in sweat coming back to a car where its like 150 degrees inside is no fun, even in winter if its a sunny day the car gets intensely hot inside.A park like DHS which could use space to build new attractions might consider a garage to maybe free up space for new attractions.

Personally, I like to park at Hollywood Studios. Then walk from there to International Gateway at Epcot. Once inside Epcot I just walk out the front of the park and take the monorail to the Transportation and Ticket Center. Then take the ferry boat over to Magic Kingdom. Go to the Magic Kingdom bus station and hop on the bus to Port Orleans Riverside. Once there, I get on the boat which takes you directly to Disney Springs. It is really the easiest way to do it.

Yes, OP, as others have said parking is free at DS in Disney World (though not free in Disneyland). Also the garages are brand new and really easy to park in and get around - there are signs directing you to empty spaces.
