Parking at Desert Inn and Suites

Just because if you have a suite you're gonna NEED more than one spot. But it's understandable if they don't have room. We just didn't realize that when we made the reservations.

It'll cost us 150 extra to park our other cars at the Hilton.

Could you call Anaheim Plaza and ask them if you could park there for $4 day? When I was there, I was under the impression they let people park there that did not stay there.

I know this. You are GUARANTEED 1 spot per room. If they "run out" someone is cheating. I have never had a problem finding a spot even when busy. Yes parking is tight but it's exactly the same at BWPPI and many others on Harbor.

As for keeping you car there, they will let you up to about 3pm. Same as other hotels. Not sure why this is such an issue.

We stayed there in June and never had a problem with parking. We went on several short day trips and always found a spot upon returning. I can also corroborate that you are allowed to park there until 3pm on your checkout date.

Yes, I was well aware that someone must've been cheating when we got back to the motel late at night and there were no stalls available to park in. I was aware of it when they told us we'd now have to drive to the Hilton and pay to park there and walk back with a toddler in tow at 10:30PM. They didn't care that they promised us one parking space per room and would do nothing to accommodate us or even try to double check the cars parked in the lot to see if their car was parked illegally. They didn't care. I agree it's the same way at BWPPI and other smaller motels on Harbor; that's partly why we won't stay there either.
Keeping the car there past 3PM is an issue if you don't have a flight that leaves until 9PM. Then it becomes an issue. You will either have to move your car and pay for parking at DL (with all your luggage in tow because they don't have room to store your luggage so they told me) or risk being towed from their lot, or as I have done, find a better place to stay that offers all the things that are important to me that is in close walking distance to the park.

Well I called Anaheim Plaza and she said (tho a bit confused sounding) that you have to either be attending a convention or staying with them.
