Parking at Coronado Springs, No ADR for Three Bridges Bar and Grill at Villa del Lago

I'm going to Disney World in August (yay!), and I'm thinking about going to Coronado Springs to eat at Three Bridges Bar and Grill at Villa del Lago. They do not take advanced dining reservations, so I'm not sure how the parking situation will go. Can you pull up to the gate and just tell them you're going to Three Bridges? I figured someone on here would have to know. Thanks in advance!

There have been so many mixed experiences lately, I don't know what to think about this! We used to go to other resorts for dinner and/or drinks, but I've been hearing/seeing reports on here about people being turned away at the gate without an ADR, and this was confirmed to me by a cm on chat through the app last May. She told me that I cannot enter Disney property without an ADR unless I took Disney transportation into the resort. On our most recent trip in October, we went to DS and took the boat into POFQ for beignets, but it was a hassle rather than driving in ourselves.

I get why they are doing it at the more popular resorts and the ones closest to Epcot or the monorail loop, however.... I would LOVE to know how some of the vloggers seem to have no issue just popping into a resort, driving in, without an ADR. I know I've seen Mr. Morrow and Molly as two examples, of them going all over to resorts without ADRs and seeming to have no issue.

I stayed at GDT two weeks ago, and when we were checking in, I told the guard I was checking in, and he told me I could park anywhere. He didn’t check my name or ask for an ID or anything. We also ate there last year - May or August, can’t remember which one. We did have a reservation and told the guard, but again, he didn’t check our reservation nor ask for any ID. Since you cannot walk to any park, grab any convenient transportation like the skyliner or monorail, and there seems to be plenty of parking, I don’t think Coronado has the same issue as resorts like the Epcot area, Skyliner resorts, and MK area resorts - or AKL that has a much smaller parking lot. YMMV, but we haven’t had any issues at Coronado.

It’ll be hit or miss depending on the guard you talk to. Since it’s not one near a park you might have a better chance. I didn’t have any issue going to Saratoga springs to get something from the gift shop, but I’ve also seen signs at hotels saying only hotel guests and those with a dining reservation.

If you do get turned away you could park at Disney springs and take the bus there

They have been allowing this more and more the last few months, even at some resorts with transportation. We usually get asked to show ID but that is it.

We noticed it was very strict in October but it was very chill for our January trip and they didn’t scan our magic bands for our ADRs.

We also went to Three Bridges and the guard waved us in cheerfully (checking photo ID) after we explained we wanted to eat there.

We also ate at Tambu Lounge and I was relieved when the guard waved us in - I was nervous about that.

Ultimately, YMMV, but CSR is one of the places where it's not as likely to be a problem. It's a huge convention resort with tons of parking, and there's always people coming and going for meetings/corporate events/etc who aren't staying there.

Let me just say that Three Bridges is worth it - it’s fantastic, and I’m going to go again in Msy
