Parking at Contemporary to view Wishes

Will the security guard allow us to park at CR to view Wishes from the 4th floor observation deck?

No... they are very strick about the parking there because the parking lot is smaller.

If there is room you can park at the resort for up to 3 hours while visiting the CR. If you are there during a busy time or if the self park lot is full you can pay for valet parking or park at the TTC.

No, and the last time we were there we were told the viewing area was only for those that had/were dining at the restaurant or bar. The trip before, we were allowed to go to the observation deck - - guess it varies!!

The one on the roof outside California Grill is for people dining at the restaurant or bar. The 4th floor is open to anyone.

We will be visiting during the near peak Spring Break season (week of March 8). Do you think it will be a problem then?

What we did was take a Disney bus from BWV to the MK and then walk from the bus stop area to the CR (actually we were going to BLT which is right next door to the MK). It takes maybe 10 minutes to walk to BLT from the MK bus area. The CR would be just another minute or two.

If you don't want to walk from the MK to the CR, you could take the monorail to the CR instead. The walk from the bus stop to the monorail isn't much shorter than walking to the CR but you get to ride the monorail.

After the fireworks we had a drink then walked back to the bus stop area and got a bus back to BWV. That worked out well because it allowed some time for the guests leaving the MK to clear out of the bus area. The buses continue to run for an hour after park closing.

Yeah, I thought about that very thing but our point was trying to avoid the departing crowds by viewing at CR with 2 kids, we were wanting to get back to BWV and miss the mass exodus.
