Parking at Boardwalk

Have never done this before so I'm unsure if this is acceptable. We are having an early dinner at the Boardwalk and will be driving our car there - parking in the general Boardwalk parking area. We then wanted to go to see Illuminations at Epcot and then back to Jellyrolls.

Is it 'legal' to park at the Boardwalk and then go into Epcot through the International Gateway even if I'm not staying at the Epcot hotels (I will be staying at Ft. Wilderness)?

Any advice/opinion would be appreciated!

Thanks!

If you're having dinner at BW, they'll usually let you park for 3 hours. If it's not a busy time, they may ignore the limit. Parking tends to get tight at BW because so many people try to park there just to go to Epcot. (A no-no.) And yes, anyone can enter through the International Gateway.

There's a lot across the street that will let you park longer. Ask when you get there. The attendant can tell you how things are that day.
